Oliviah Tawarar, Africa Youth for Nature Network

Oliviah Tawarar spent eight months working with WWF Africa, organised a youth conference which gave birth to the Africa Youth for Nature Network, where she is now the Head of Communications. She shares her experience of working with YMCA and WWF, and how to take the first steps in elevating your voice for positive change.

This video formed part of the launch of the Youth-Led Solution Summit Launch on Monday 19 October 2020. It is YMCA's new initiative to amplify youth solutions that positively impact local and global sustainability, the development of just and equitable communities, and the well-being of all people.

She worked at WWF Africa for a period of 8 Months and during her stay at WWF she was part of a team able to organise a successful youth conference which gave birth to Africa Youth for Nature Network. ​
